This is an excellent opportunity for a Digital Marketing professional to work with our award-winning team in a fun, friendly, and fast-paced craft brewery based in beautiful Bright.

There is also the opportunity to expand this role to full-time by undertaking a day’s work in other parts of the business.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an up-and-coming Digital Marketing Officer to join our team here in beautiful Bright (0.8 FTE).

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for all aspects of planning, creating, and operating Bright Brewery’s digital marketing campaigns and activity throughout the year. This includes:

– Social media

– e-Commerce

– Website management

– Digital advertising

– e-Database management and growth

– Electronic direct mail

– Reporting and trend-tracking

The right candidate will have experience in digital marketing and content creation, be a highly motivated and organised person with outstanding attention to detail, and a desire to provide excellent customer service and experiences for our online customers.

Your Key tasks

– Day-to-day running of our website (no coding experience required) including creation of content, keeping it up-to-date, managing product inventory

– Management and growth of our online e-commerce store to meet sales targets

– Management and growth of our brewery-to-door beer club, the Mash Club, to meet sales targets

– Creation and implementation of our social media content calendar across various platforms

– Managing and implementing strategies to grow our email databases

Regular communication with e-databases

– Creation and implementation of digital advertising strategies and campaigns to meet business objectives and sales targets

– Monthly reports to the Management Team on strategies and campaigns

– Weekly reporting and trend tracking of online feedback/reviews across various platforms

– Updating Untappd with new beer releases

– Other Marketing tasks as directed by the Marketing Manager. This may include:

– Distribution of beer samples

– Other tasks, as directed

YOU HAVE

– A love for, or some knowledge of, craft beer

– Strong communication skills

– Strong organisational skills

– Very strong attention to detail

Social Media platforms

– A current Victorian RSA (or be willing to attain one before starting in this role)

THE ROLE

This is a 0.8 FTE role based on Bright, Victoria. There is the possibility that some work could be performed remotely, if required, although there is the requirement to work from Head Office in Bright on a regular basis.

This role reports to the Marketing Manager, and works closely with other departments, specifically the Sales, Venue, Logistics, and Administration, teams.

There is the opportunity to expand this role to full-time by undertaking a day’s work in other parts of the business, such as Administration, Venue (front of house), Kitchen, or Warehouse – depending on business requirements.

The Events & Promotions Officer is also responsible for managing Bright Brewery’s own calendar of premier events, including:

– Darker Days Festival

– Picnic In The Paddock Festival

– 5Zero Gravel/MTB Event

– Venue events such as Beer Launches, Community Events and others (in collaboration with our Venue Team)

The Events & Promotions Officer is also responsible for planning, implementing, managing offsite retail sales promotions, in collaboration with our Sales Team, to support our growing wholesale business. This includes:

– Beer Tastings

– Tap Takeovers

– Trade Shows

– Instore activations

– Visual Merchandising

– Others, as directed by the Marketing Manager

The right candidate will have experience in event coordination and or sales promotions, be a highly motivated and organised person with outstanding attention to detail and a desire to provide excellent customer service and experience.

Your Key tasks

– Managing all planning and logistics for our attendance at off-site festivals, events and trade shows (as above)

– Working at festivals and trade shows (setting up, pouring beers, etc)

– Managing the upkeep and storage of Event equipment and inventory

– Planning, managing and operating our in-house Marquee Events (as above) including live music curation and bookings

– Creation and development of new, profitable in-house premier events at Bright Brewery, including live music curation and bookings

– Working with the Venue team to plan and promote venue-based Events in Bright (as above)

– Working with the Sales team to plan and operate in-store tastings and promotions (as above).

– Assisting the sales team with both in store and venue activations (as above).

– Working with the Venue and Kitchen teams, create a workable Functions model for Bright Brewery

– Other Marketing support, as directed by the Marketing Manager. This may include:

– Distribution of beer samples

– Creation of posters, in-store Point of Sale material etc

– Other tasks, as directed

YOU HAVE

– A love for, and some knowledge of, craft beer

– Strong communication skills

– Strong organisational skills

– Very strong attention to detail

– A shared commitment to Bright Brewery’s values: living a sustainable, authentic and active lifestyle

– Passion for the mountains and promoting products that are made with a sustainable focus

– The ability to organise and use your time effectively

– The ability to operate independently as well as in a team environment

– Proven ability to work within financial budgets

– Proven experience in planning and running events

– An interest in, or love for, live music (preferred)

– Experience in, or a willingness to learn, basic graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (preferred not must-have)

– Excellent customer service

– The ability to think quickly on your feet, problem solve, and use your initiative

– A current Victorian driver’s license

– A current Victorian RSA (or be willing to attain one before starting in this role)

THE ROLE

This is a full-time role based in Bright, Victoria. This role can not be performed remotely.

This role reports to the Marketing Manager, and works closely with all other departments, specifically the Sales, Venue, Logistics, Administration, and Brewing teams.

This role requires flexibility in your working week, and the ability and willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays where required, particularly during Events season.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking to build a team to help our Melbourne crew across venue events and in-store tastings along with festivals and activations. This is a casual role where you will have the opportunity to work with one of Australia’s pioneering and most-respected craft breweries. This is a great entry-level role for someone interested in working in the craft beer industry or kicking starting their career in events.

You will work directly with our Sales and Marketing team to help spread the Bright Brewery beers and message across Melbourne and surrounds.

We are looking for road crew members with a love for great beer and a passion for talking about it. Ideally, our candidates will have some experience in either hospitality or liquor retail, will have strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. A passion for the mountains and an active lifestyle are also a plus!

YOUR KEY TASKS

· Managing and operating in-store tastings planned with sales team.

· Working at venue events such as tap takeovers, launches or trade nights.

· Pouring and talking beers at festivals and trade shows.

· Assisting with both in-store and venue activations.

This is a casual role with the possibility of future permanent hours for the right person. It will be Melbourne-based with regional work available for those interested/willing. Your remuneration will include the following:

· Casual award pay in conjunction with role operated and hours worked.

· Training and support.

This role will require you to have a driver’s license, your own vehicle, and either hold a current RSA or be willing to get one before starting in this role.

Bright Brewery is seeking experienced chefs and kitchen-hands (experience not necessary for kitchen-hand positions) to join our kitchen team.

Chef Position Description

We’re looking for leaders to help us create delicious food with a craft brewery twist in a very busy environment.

We require team players who loves working with the freshest local produce and who can bring a real creative flair to our cuisine.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to and working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, the Chefs will help lead the Kitchen Team and are accountable for delivering great and unique food for Bright Brewery’s customers.

This rewarding role includes continually improving menu quality, food sourcing, storage, preparation, cooking and waste processing.

You will be competent in all areas of cooking and cleaning, maintaining high levels of Food Hygiene Standards and HACCP controls.

Skills and experience

  • Qualified Chef
  • Must have prior experience in a high-volume hospitality environment
  • Experience in menu planning and demonstrated skills in high standards of menu prep and delivery
  • Passion and imagination for food
  • Interest in local produce and beer matching
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations relating to the hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership skills and lead by example

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

A knowledge of, or passion for, beer and brewing is an advantage.
