Let’s raise a glass of Fred’s to International Women’s Day 2024!
Join us at Bright Brewery for a beautiful lunch to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024 and for the launch of our new, female-led beer – Fred’s Apricot NEIPA.
TICKETS ARE LIMITED TO JUST 60 SEATS, SO BOOK EARLY TO AVOID MISSING OUT.
Created & brewed by the women of Bright Brewery – led by our brewer Madi Bruce – Fred’s is named in honour of our pioneering founder, the late Fiona ‘Fred’ Reddaway.
We’re very excited to have the very inspirational Dr Jeannette McGill as our special guest speaker! Jeannette, who has been named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Mining globally, is also a successful high-altitude mountaineer and was the first South African woman to summit Manaslu – at 8,163 metres. She has led multiple big mountain expeditions and now trains and mentors other climbers to achieve their goals through her business McGills Mountains. With a long history in two very male-dominated fields of mining/engineering and big mountaineering, Jeannette has a unique perspective on this year’s IWD theme, Inspire Inclusivity.
