This June, we’re pouring for Friends of the Earth Melbourne, supporting their annual Snow Gum Summit, bringing together communities, scientists and advocates to protect the Australian Alps and the snow gum forests we love.  They’re also raising funds for the Alps campaign as it puts the Summit’s declaration into action and builds toward the 2027 Snow Gum Summit.

Faced with rising temperatures, landscape-scale bushfires, and dieback, snow gums are at a crossroads. With your support, Friends of the Earth can continue to bring together researchers, land managers, Traditional Owners and community to advocate for science-based management and stronger safeguards for our snow gum woodlands. 

 How does the Community Keg work?

1. Grab your friends and family and head down to Bright Brewery from 5pm on Wednesday, June 24.

2. Ask for a pot/schooner/pint from our Community Keg tap.

3. Instead of paying us for your beer, you make a donation to Friends of The Earth Melbourne. Donate* as much as you like – it’s all for a good cause!

4. We will donate 100% of proceeds from the keg to Friends of The Earth Melbourne.

This monthly community event takes place on the last Wednesday of every month.
