Brewed in loving memory of our trailblazing founder, Fiona “Fred” Reddaway.

Trailblazer is a celebration of the women who have shaped and continue to shape the brewing industry.

Created, brewed and enjoyed by the women of Bright Brewery, this IPA honours the female pioneers of our past, present and future in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

For 2025, our Fred’s brew is a collaborative effort between our brewers Madi Bruce and Claire Lock. This IPA highlights the bright, citrusy and tropical notes of Motueka hops, sourced from the Sunrise Valley in New Zealand.

A portion of proceeds from every sip supports the Pink Boots Society, empowering and supporting women in the Australian drinks industry.

Brewer’s Tasting Notes: “The Fred’s Trailblazer NZ IPA is a crisp and refreshing IPA with prominent tropical fruit flavours and a bright citrus character. These notes are attributed to the Pomona yeast and the Motueka hops used in the brewing process.“
