The 12 Beers Of Christmas Tasting Notes
Bright Pale Ale (4.0%)
Bright Pale Ale is a true taste of home. Brewed with locally grown hops, it’s a light-bodied, fruit-forward pale ale that’s as easy-drinking as it is flavourful. Expect bright notes of pineapple, passionfruit, and juicy citrus.
Hellfire Amber Ale (5%)
Hellfire Amber blends tradition with modern craft. A tribute to the classic English ambers that came before it, this beer adds an Australian twist with vibrant new world hops. Deep amber in colour, it delivers a rich yet sessionable malt body, layered with subtle notes of citrus and pine.
M.I.A IPA (6.5%)
Named in honour of our former head brewer Jon—who, on the very afternoon the first batch of this IPA was due to be kegged, went for a “quick” lunchtime paraglide (in true Bright fashion) and ended up missing for eight hours after an emergency landing on nearby Mt Feathertop with no phone.
DoggoBrau Tropical XPA (4.5%)
DoggoBrau Tropical XPA is a proudly all-Australian brew, crafted exclusively with locally grown hops and malt. Featuring two of our favourite native hop varieties—Vic Secret and Galaxy – this XPA showcases a bold dry-hop profile that amplifies vibrant tropical and fruit bowl aromas.
Alpine Lager (4.5%)
Voted Australia’s #1 Independent Lager in the 2024 GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beer Poll.
Brewed in the modern Australian style, Alpine Lager is crisp, refreshing, and effortlessly drinkable. Subtle tropical notes lift this classic lager, making it the perfect choice for both long-time lager lovers and those discovering the style anew.
Staircase Porter (5.7%)
Our tribute to the great London brewing tradition, Staircase Porter is a dark ale that balances depth with drinkability. Layers of creamy espresso, bittersweet chocolate, and rich toffee create a full-bodied beer that remains surprisingly approachable.
Brave Brew Lager (4%)
Celebrate the best damn Ice Hockey team in Australia with our custom collab Brave Brew Lager. This classic Aussie lager is the beer for everyone, easy drinking and reminiscent of game day beers of old. Best drank cold and for legal reasons never on a Zamboni!
Shared Steps American IPA (6.2%)
A bold, malt driven IPA with classic piney bitterness – an homage to early 2000’s American IPAs, minus the harsh edge. Brewed by 20 women from the Pink Boots Society during a collaborative brew day in Bright. A portion of proceeds supports education and opportunities for women in the fermentation industry.
Any Day XPA (2.9%)
Brewed to drink like something bigger, Any Day XPA is the session beer that punches well above its weight. Slightly hazy and bursting with notes of fresh-cut pineapple, passionfruit, and mango, it’s loaded with tropical character.
Miami Weisse Mango Icecream Sour (4%)
A smooth, lightly tart sour that’s perfect for newcomers to the style. Brewed with lactose for a creamy mouthfeel and loaded with mango purée for a bold, juicy tropical hit. Approachable, refreshing, and unmistakably mango.
POW Hazy Pale Ale (4%)
A fresh and fruity pale ale with tropical flavours and aromas, POW Pale Ale is brewed in the Alpine valleys by the adventurers at Bright Brewery.
Stubborn Imperial Stout 2025 (11.3%)
For nearly two decades, Bright Brewery has embraced the darkness by unleashing the beast—Stubborn Imperial Stout. Like the mythical Alpine bear that adorns its label, this bold brew is not to be taken lightly. Layered with rich espresso and dark chocolate, Stubborn is built for the long haul.
