Introducing the fifth of Bright Brewery’s acclaimed Barrel Series beers – Barrel Aged Scotch Ale 2020.

Enjoy this rich and malty amber Scotch Ale, aged in Laphroaig Scotch Whisky barrels. The end result is an intense, smoky Scotch flavour with a rich mouthfeel and honey-like sweetness, tempered by a peat-smoked finish. If you like your Scotch smoky, then this is the beer for you!

    So good. I’d have voted this in the GABS poll if it was listed. My favourite of the Bright BA ales to date. Nicely peated. Salty caramel. Not too heavy so incredible, dangerously drinkable. Glad I scored a carton.
